Fr. Benjamin Welcoming Message
Welcome to the Sts. Viator and Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Chicago website. I hope you find the information you need on this page. May Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary be in your heart as you explore this page.
Sts. Viator and Wenceslaus Church continues to be active thanks to families seeking spiritual growth through the Religious Education program for parents and children and the celebration of the sacraments. Saints Viator and Wenceslaus is a place to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and to instruct new generations in the faith. Through our tradition, we recognize that good faith formation enriches life and creates a community of empowered believers.
If you are looking for a community to learn and celebrate the faith, I hope you consider Sts. Viator and Wenceslaus as an option. We invite you to join us on Saturday evenings or Sundays to celebrate the Holy Eucharist together and thank God for the blessings received. Holy Mass is the source and the maximum of everything we do. Please, if you have any questions or need more information, do not hesitate to contact us.

Words from Fr. Benjamin About the 2022 Annual Catholic Appeal.
Dear SS. Viator and Wenceslaus Community,
I hope everyone is doing well during this difficult and cold time. Please know that I am praying for all of you in the hope that we will continue to meet the Lord at every celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
The Annual Catholic Appeal will take place next weekend, February 19-20. Every year the Archdiocese gives us a goal. The amount that exceeds the established goal will remain for the parish. Last year between St. Viator and St. Wenceslaus, the goal was $37,027. Thanks to your generosity, last year we were able to reach and pass our goal by $4,065. I am sure that this year we will do it again! Our goal for this year is $37,065.
A large percentage of your donation goes to support the services that Catholic Relief Services offer in various countries. Through this institution we make our- selves present in those places where people’s most essential needs are lacking. Also, thanks to your generosity, the Archdiocese is able to support low-income Catholic parishes and schools throughout the Archdiocese. Remember, it is not about giving the same amount, but rather making the same sacrifice together.
You can make your donation online at annualcatholicappeal.com or during Masses next weekend, February 19-20 or if you received the Cardinal's letter in early January, you can make your pledge by mailing the envelope with your answer. I invite you to prayerfully reflect on our participation in the Annual Catholic Appeal and how we can bring hope to the world through our prayer, service, and financial support.
